## Before installation

- Ask for the civil engineer's signed structural assessment of the roof before any panel is installed (Clause 3.2), and check the engineer's licence on the Council of Engineers website. Keep the assessment with the building documents — the local authority may ask to see it.
- The Customer signs and submits the connection application to the Provincial or Metropolitan Electricity Authority, and any notification to the Energy Regulatory Commission, in the name that appears on the electricity bill (Clause 4.1). Do not let the Installer submit in its own name.
- Do not pay for the main equipment before the roof has been confirmed and the approvals needed before installation have been obtained (Clause 5.1).
- Selling surplus electricity depends on the electricity authority's current programme, its quota and its price. Check the programme terms yourself before relying on export income.

## Payments and receipts

- Pay each instalment only against a completed stage (Clause 11.3), and only to the account in Clause 11.4. Confirm any change of bank account by telephone with the person who signed the Agreement.
- For your home, the Installer must give a receipt in Thai each time it receives money (Clause 11.5).
- A Thai company or partnership that pays the Installer withholds 3% of each payment for hire of work and gives a withholding tax certificate. An individual Customer does not withhold.

## Stamp duty

- This Agreement is a hire of work contract. Stamp duty is **1 THB for every 1,000 THB or part of 1,000 THB** of the Contract Price. On the price you entered, the duty on the original is the amount the system calculates from the figures entered, and each counterpart carries the amount the system calculates from the figures entered. The Installer pays the duty within 15 days after signing — in money to the Revenue Department if the price is 1,000,000 THB or more, or through the e-Stamp Duty system if the Agreement is signed electronically.

## Testing and Acceptance

- Attend the commissioning tests if you can, and keep the commissioning report and the performance test data (Clause 9). Using the electricity before Acceptance does not mean you have accepted the System.
- On the day of Acceptance, collect the documents in Clause 9.5, make sure the emergency shutdown instructions are fixed at the switchboard, and, if the System was late, reserve your right to delay damages in writing (Clause 8.3).
- Check that the monitoring app is registered in your name as administrator and change the passwords (Clause 14.1). Remove the Installer's account when you no longer need its support.
- Tell your property insurer about the System after Acceptance (Clause 16.2).

## Warranties

- Register the manufacturers' warranties in your name and keep the serial numbers. Report defects in writing with photographs — for anything that smells of burning, sparks, or lets water into the building, call the Installer at once and switch the System off using the shutdown procedure (Clause 13.3).
- Keep the monitoring data for each guarantee year. The Installer must report on the Guaranteed Output within 30 days after each year (Clause 12.3).
- Under the Civil and Commercial Code, a claim for a defect must be brought within one year after the defect appears. Do not wait for the end of the warranty period.

## Signing

- A company signs through the director or directors named in its latest company affidavit, with the company seal if its rules require one. Electronic signatures and signed PDF copies are valid (Clause 22.5).
